job is failing

  one of the job which is runing under proxy account is failing due to the password is expired , we changed the password in credentials and ran the job . still the job is failing .

  we deleted the credential and proxy account and created inew credential and proxy , still having the same issue .

  How to resolve ?

  Have you restarted either the instance or SQL Agent ? And confirmed that the proxy account still hase the requisite OS and SQL permissions ?

  Maybe SQLAgent is running on cached credentials (ie the expired ones)...:unsure:
