Hi All,
WE the following setup:
SQL server 2012 AAG : Node 1(Primary server) and Node 2(Secondary server) { Primary Location}, Node 3 (DR)
As of now we have configured system database backup on primary server and All database backup on (Node2) Primary location Secondary server.
Now my requirement is How to configure All databases backup on Node3( DR). I have create maintenance plan but only system databases are being backed up but not the User Databases.
Pls suggest me how to configure all databases backups on DR site.

What synchronisation method are you using for Node3 (DR)?

We are using async mode on DR site and on primary site both servers are in sync mode...

As the database(s) in the DR node are asynchronous it is a non readable secondary and for that reason its not possible to take a backup of the databases. Only active secondary's (synchronous) can be used for off loading backups.

Actually that last statement is partially incorrect, you cannot do it using a maintenance plan as the maintenance plan tools cannot read the database, but you can do it via scripts.
