SSRS 2012 vs 2008R2 -- are there any compelling differences?

  Sorry for the lame title... I"m just wondering (since I already have 2008R2 Developer) if there are any reasons to upgrade from a purely SSRS standpoint. (well, ignoring temporarily the windowing functions and other features added in 2012).

  I am pretty much an SSRS noob. What I'm trying to do is this:

  1. Create a report template (not hard).

  2. Create a bunch of reports.

  3. publish various Report Parts using Report Builder 3.0 (Any reason this isn't included in the new version of Reporting Services?)

  4. Practice building Reports in Report Builder using Report Parts.

  Basically, I'm learning on a bunch of Oncology data, where each main report consists of a series of linked/parameterized subreports, so I wanted to make the creation of those reports really simple. So the main report dataset would have a linking parameter value, and then a few standard fields (Protocol Name etc), adn then there would be a hopefully limited set of subreports to choose from (like 30?), and the users could just build them using Report Builder.

  Okay, after all that - should I just stick to SSRS 2008R2? (looks to be exactly the same as 2012!)
