SQL 2008 cluster installation failed

  Today we tried installing SQL 2008 cluster. It failed with error "Wait on the database engine recovery handle failed". We tried uninstalling it to do a fresh install but uninstall also failed with error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Has anyone came across this? Any suggestion how can we resolve it.

  are you using a domain account to run the SQL services on both servers that have needed rights?

  Yes domain account with admin rights. This has been resolved now. We have applied slipstream setup after uninstalling it. Thanks.
