Hi,
I got two server [Server ‘A’ and Server ‘B’] running SQL 2008 R2 standard edition [SP1]. ( Please check attached screen shot)
Reporting services installed on Server ’A’ and while configuring report services I choose server ‘B’ to create report server DB’s. [so, report services running on server ‘A’ and report server DB sitting on server ‘B’]
On server ‘B’ we got few user DB including server ‘A’ reports DB’s and SSIS and all….
Now I got an request to upgrade Server ‘B’ version from SQL 2008 R2 standard edition [SP1] TO SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise edition [SP1].
I am following these steps for upgrade : http://ask.sqlservercentral.com/questions/1436/in-place-upgrade-from-standard-edition-to-enterpri.html
Question : After I upgrading server ‘B’ SQL version from SQL 2008 R2 standard edition [SP1] TO SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise edition [SP1] is there any issues with the report server/ using reports on Server ‘A’.
Because after the successful version upgrade server ‘B’ will run on Enterprise and Server ‘A’ still run on standard edition.
Please let me know if you need any other details to answer this.
Thanks in Advance,
Krishna
