First let me start by saying I am new to SSIS/SSAS. I have a datamart build showing stock sales and depletions. I have a dim table that has my date information. The atomic level is to the month on the DimDate table. I also have my Depletions Fact table. I have built this into a cube but need to add a Trend calculation for the last three years of data.
I will then be using a matrix in SSRS to group by year and month.
I am not really sure the best way to do this. The report I am converting used the Excel TREND function. I am rebuilding the report in SSRS and have everything done but this.
