loading massive files

    I'm loading server large data files into a db. Some records in some table have carrage returns in the data which is acting like an end of line for the import process. does anyone know a way around this? i'm using bcp

    I can only offer a simple suggestion: use a text editor capable of handling large files and do a search and replace on the carriage returns, then reimport the files using BCP

    Are you using a BCP format file?
