  In our environment we have (only one) sql server 2012 enterprise edition as our production server, We need to setup any of the high availability in our secondary server which is sql server 2008r2 standard edition. ie from sql server 2012-sql server 2008r2.Kindly let me know how to configure high availability such as mirorring,logshipping,replication...please suggest on the same as quickly as possible. :-)We know that compatibilty level is different between these two servers.

  Prod server:sql server 2012 enterprise edition

  Cob server :sql sevrer 2008R2 standard edition

  mirroring logshipping are out of the question.

  so your looking at replication, which replication method you want to use is up to you
