Hi,
Does anyone know how to get a data value to display inside a marker on a horizontal bar chart? What I am really trying to do is simulate a horizontal gauge. The client wants a visual that looks like a horizontal gauge, with a marker that represents a survey score displayed in the range, with the value of the score displayed inside the marker.
I know it is not possible to show data values on a gauge, so I tried to simulate this by using a horizontal bar chart with 2 series. The score can be from 0 to 100. So I made one series static at 100, so the entire bar is always displayed to simulate the range color on a gauge. The second series is the score, with the bar hidden and only the marker displayed. All I need to do is get the data value to display inside the marker instead of to the right or left, but I have been through all the properties and can't find a way to do that in a horizontal bar chart.
Any thoughts? Any thoughts on a diff way I could achieve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And actually I am using SSRS 2012, but there is no forum for SSRS 2012, so I posted here. Also I don't think there is any functionality diff in SSRS 2008 R2 and 2012, at least as it pertains to this.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
