I have been tasked with testing an OS upgrade.
We have a legacy application that runs on XP Pro which uses the SQL 16Bit Client. We are considering deploying the application via Terminal Services hosted on Windows Server 2008 (32bit).
When I attempt to install the SQL 16Bit Client in the Windows Server 2008 (32bit) OS I receive the following error:
DSHELL caused General Protection Fault in module MSCUISTF.DLL at 0003:1FA2
I am not an SQL expert hemce asking here, is there any way to install the SQL 16Bit Client on a Windows Server 2008(32bit)?
