When I try to open a site within SharePoint I get error below, Im able to open the application but when I open a site within the application thats when the error occurs.
"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote ... (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40"
On my SQL Server I'm able to connect to the SSMS where the SharePoint Databases are located. The tcp/ip and name pipes enabled, application server can see the SQL Server when I ping, SQL Server ports opened, I have other applications connected to the SQL IServer running without any errors.
