    Just read this on MS website.

    •The following scenarios are not supported in SQL Server 2012:

    You cannot migrate from a stand-alone instance of SQL Server to a SQL Server 2012 failover cluster

    Deos this include a stand alone version of SQL 2012?

    Can you provide the link?

    I'd assume this means an "in-place upgrade" as a side by side migration should be fine.
