Backup and recovery model

  • i have asked this question please let me know what to answer on this, Q is :

one database is there which is in full recovery model every hour transaction log backup happens, what will happen if recovery model changes from full to simple and then again simple to full?

  • Log backups will fail until a full or differential backup is taken.

  • ok, can you please tell me why the backup will get failed, what will happen internally because recovery model changed from full to simple and from simple to full at the same time.
