It was prob a little fast in the making... in the comments it says sp_Find4, and whole chunks was missing from the 'else' statement I noticed it did not search tables or columns if you selected a specific DB... anyway I tweaked it and now I am happy.

This proc crashes if there any database offline -
Msg 942, Level 14, State 4, Line 2
Database 'db1' cannot be opened because it is offline.

Could you please post your modified version? One of us can do the database state modification on the corrected version.
