XML column in transaction replication ?

  We have a couple of tables have XML data types columns running on Standard edition of sql server 2005 SP3, wondering if

  we can replicate those tables in transaction replication with update subscriber ? Thanks.

  We are replicating few XML columns, but environment is without update able Subsciber.
