We have developed a number of reports with RB1 initially for use in the UK. The reports display a number of date and currency values. To get the dates in dd/mm/yy format I had to use a custom format of dd/MM/yy which works fine. To get the values as currencies I selected the $1234.56 format and then set the currency symbol to £, again this works fine.
Unfortunately, we have now installed the reports in the US and so the date and currency formats are incorrect. I could create a parallel set of reports formatted for the US, but that will cause a maintenance overhead in the future. I just want to use a default setting and get reporting services pick the users environment settings.
Has anyone else had this issue and do they know of a solution?
