Transaction table updation

    I got one project,and i m trying to understand the flow of that project, so please help.

    I m not able to understand the updation and flow of data in master and transaction table.

    I have one master and transaction table in master one customer table and in transaction one enquiry registration table having.

    New entry of customer is done in master table and it generate one unique customer id,and there reference id also in enquiry table.

    But what the confusing i got, if i generate the new customer at the time of transaction how that new customer also updated in master table.

    please give the related solution with some example.
