SQL2000 lose connection

    Hello,

    i have installed SQL Server 2000 (SP4) in a PC with following charateristics:

    OS. MS Win server 2003 R2 Standard edition SP2

    CPU Intel Core 2 QUAD CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 Ghz

    RAM 4 GB

    The problem is that many times during the day, it seems that lose connection with some applications like Backup Exec v12.5, Kaspersky Administrator Server v 6 and account applications.

    Can anybody help pls?

    This looks more like a network issue. Maybe a badly configured Switch or network cards.

    Please check sql server error logs and eent viwer logs for any error messages.

    Thank you a lot,

    The problem was finally a switch with problem we change it and everything is ok now !!
