Tim Radney - Database Professional

Tim Radney - Database Professional by Tim Radney I am a Sr DBA for a top 40 US bank. I live in the south eastern US. I have been working with database since 1999 but only full time for the past three years.

It is all about giving so why not #sqlgive

Last year at the Summit I missed out on this really cool concept.  Donate your unused items from your hotel.  You know the little bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.  There are several places setup at the Summit where you can drop off these items to be donated to a local charity.

Want to take it a step farther?  If you are like many of us, you travel to the PASS Summit with a half empty suitcase and return with it loaded down.  Why not travel with a full suitcase with items you don’t wear anymore.  How about an old coat, scarf, shirts, etc.  People in Seattle can use these items too.

Want to learn more about this, well check our Chris Shaw’s Blog.  He includes links of where the drop off points are.  You can bet I will be bringing some clothing items as well as dropping off my little bottles of shampoo.

Seattle is so good to all of us when we visit, lets give something back.
