SQL Saturday #89 Atlanta GA

The official launch of SQL Saturday #89 was June 8th.  Within the first week of the launch we have registered over 100 attendees and have over 30 sessions submitted.  We have been overwhelmed with the response.  We have made a few updates to the Event Website  The most import change has been to list links to our two pre-con sessions.  We are very proud to announce that we have Kevin E Kline present an all day session on “Troublshoting & Performance Tuning Micrsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Deep Dive”  Link to Event Bright as well as John Welch to present an all day session on “Data Warehousing with SSIS Deep Dive”  Link to Event Bright We are offering an Early Bird discount until July 1st.  Seating for each pre-con is limited to 50 each and several tickets have already been sold for each so don’t hold out on registering.

As of the publishing of this blog we have already received several commitments from sponsors to make this the best SQL Saturday Atlanta has had.  A huge thank you to Confio, WhereScape, Red Gate, and FusionIO.  Also to our many bloggers who have sponsored at the blog level.

A major kudo’s to Audrey Hammonds for securing such a fabulous location for SQL Saturday #89.  This year the event will be held at the Alpharetta location of Georgia State University. (Georgia State University – Alpharetta location. 3775 Brookside Pkwy Alpharetta, GA 30022)
