SQL Saturday #173 Washington DC wrap up

Today I spoke at the Washington DC SQL Saturday #173. I first spent some time in the SQL Server Performance panel session and then went straight into my Virtualizing Business Critical SQL Server session.

You can download the slide deck here, and I’ll be uploading it to the SQLSaturday web site as soon as it is back up from maintenance.

SQL Server on VMware – SQLSat Washington DC

Again, thank you to all the coordinators, volunteers, and especially the attendees who gave up their sunny Saturday afternoon in the DC area to spend with us geeks learning about new stuff. This event was wonderful, and I hope to return next year! I can hardly wait for the events that I have planned for 2013, and look forward to continued involvement with the fantastic SQL Server community! It’s so much fun to make new friends at these events, and to watch the light bulbs light up on the faces of the attendees of my sessions is one of the best feelings ever. I’ll see you all next year!
