This past weekend, I took a quick trek into the land of beer and cheese for the second annual Madison SQL Saturday event. The event was a great success, but can you expect less when one of the organizers is wielding a light saber. For a change this time, instead of bringing Sarah Strate (Blog | @DanceM0m), I brought two of my sons. They have a good time, even if it looked like they were heads down in games all day. My youngest asked when he could come to the next one and they were both interested to see what it is that I do with my time.
For those intersted, below are the materials my session, titled ”Discovering the Plan Cache“. The session went off pretty good and only ran out of time for one of the demos, which wasn’t too surprising. Hopefully, everyone got something out of the session that they could take back to their jobs and find some use for.
