Lyrics for “SQL and I Know It”

I hadn’t planned to post the lyrics for yesterday’s song, but Mark Vaillancourt (Blog | @markvsql) thought that I should.  Since he’s a trusted peer, I figured why not.  So below are the lyrics I used to ruin LMFAO’s Sexy and I Know It.  What song would you like to see SQL’d?

When I stop on by, clients be thinking that I’m the guy
I’m paid to tune, working on queries that are lafreak, yeah
This is how I roll, working on plans out a’ control,
It’s Strate with the his SQL
They like Bruce Lee rock out the claw

Hey, look at that SQL [x3]
It runs slow
Hey, look at that SQL [x3]
It runs slow

When I go to the summit, this is what I see
Hundreds of SQL Pro networking with me
I got a passion for that SQL and I ain’t afraid to show it

It’s SQL and I know it (x2)

Bring out the tools, indexing built by fools
Open SSMS, read queries that are such a mess
This is how I roll, working on plans out a’ control,
We work the table, Tom don’t be nervous.
Index, tuning, and you’ll get service

Hey, look at that SQL (x3)
It runs slow
Hey, look at that SQL (x3)
It runs slow

When I go to the summit, this is what I see
Hundreds of SQL Pro networking with me
I got a passion for that SQL and I ain’t afraid to show it

It’s SQL and I know it (x2)

It’s SQL and I know it…

Check it out (x2)
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle yeah [x4]
Do the wiggle man (x2)
Yeah It’s SQL and I know it

Hey, look at that SQL (x3)
It runs slow
Hey, look at that SQL (x2)
It runs slow

And if you missed the video…
