I needed an image of a “great idea”, and decided to use a light bulb. I started looking through Flickr and then realized I could just as easily do my own picture. So I enlisted Kendall for this series of shots.
We had fun, with Kendall holding some of them and laughing the whole time. It was a fun silly few minutes in our day.
I ended up using this one in my editorial:

there is some irony in the truth that great idea photos are harder to come by than great ideas.
my son (mostly against his will) took many pictures for me as i tried sitting at different positions in front of an elevated lamp to get the "great idea" image in this post www.sqlmashup.com/sql-server-joins-using-playing-cards

Good photos are hard. I keep taking tons with the iPhone on the chance that one will come in handy at some point.
