If You’re Not Doing Anything….

Hey… Pssst… Yeah, you there on the couch. Listen, if you’re not doing anything around lunchtime on February 6th, I have a suggestion for you.

Displaying a startling lack of good judgement, Dell Software has decided to put me in front of a virtual audience to present my “10 Ways To Abuse T-SQL” session. If you’re free, you might as well tune in and have a look. You can register here:

Updated: removed registration link, replaced with on-demand viewing link: https://software.dell.com/webcast-ondemand/-10-ways-to-abuse-tsql-ondemand-webinar827166/

I’ll do my best to keep you entertained for an hour, and maybe teach you something in the process. If not, well, it still gets me out of working for a while.

I’d like to thank Dell for giving me this opportunity. I’ve done a few presentations in my day, but this is by far the largest potential audience I’ve been in front of. Am I excited? Well, duh, what do you think?

Over the years, I’ve worked with all flavors of FoxPro, some Clipper and dBase, and starting somewhere around 1995, SQL Server. I’ve even dabbled with Oracle, though I’ve tried to block out all memories of that experience. At present, I’m the Senior SQL Server DBA and the DBA Team Supervisor for Pearson VUE.
