2010 Goals ā€“ Q2 Review

image

Another quarter gone, and unfortunately Iā€™m still looking about the same on goal progress.  Still looking good on Blog posts and networking, still a bit behind on forum posts and still abysmally behind on the Learning goals.

On the bright side, the learning goals are something that I can knock out in the last month of the year if it really comes down to it.

Another quarter gone? You're early. Isn't Q2, Apr/May/Jun?

Looks like you're doing well.

I was thinking the same as Steve - you are on the ball this quarter.

Looks like good progress.

I'm on a different calendar schedule.  Yeah.  That's it.  You haven't heard of it?  It's the one that makes me less stupid for being a month early.  Doh!

This explains why I haven't see anyone else's yet =).

Don't feel bad Seth.  I did a similar thing with TSQL2sday a while back.  I submitted my entry a week early.

Seth What books do you intend to read, My goal was to read the Deep Dives book. Not a a definite  but also @BrentO's book too. just wondered what you were thinking of reading?

The one I consider myself .5 of the way through is the deep dives book.  So far so good.  I love that I can read a chapter and then put it down.  The other two are the SQL 2008 internals books from Itzik.  Honestly I've probably read about 30% of each of those too.  I've also got Grant's book collecting dust on my shelf waiting for me to read it.  With so many more interactive ways of learning, I find myself hard pressed to just sit down and read books lately, even though I know they're amazing and I'll learn a ton.
