Yesterday I participated in my first BI SIG live meeting.  This special interest group is led by Amy Lewis who did a great job yesterday setting the agenda for the new year.

I think she had a great idea of starting BI SIG "Focus Groups”, which will focus on the typical BI topics: Integration Services, Analysis Services, etc…  With these Focus Groups each group will have there own meetings and speakers.  This will be great for those of you that are only interested in Reporting Services and aren’t interested in Analysis Services topics.

Amy is looking for people to volunteer in various positions in each of the Focus Groups.  If you would like to be involved in the BI SIG the next meeting will be February 11th.  Keep an eye on the PASS SIG website for updates or email Amy (Amy_Lewis@choicehotels.com) to be added to the mailing list.
