Thank you, Mr. Solomon

On one of the newsgroups I follow, I received a message that David Solomon will no longer be teaching seminars on Windows internals. Here's the quote from his website:

After 20 years researching, writing about, and teaching Windows OS internals, I’ve decided to focus full-time on the volunteer computer infrastructure work I've been involved with over the years. So, as of July 1, 2013 I won't be available for teaching Windows internals classes.

My Solomon is moving on to volunteer work full-time, still in computing infrastructure. I benefited greatly from David Solomon's training. Coming from an infrastructure architect background, I was able to slide in and take a seminar on Windows internals course when I returned to the DBA ranks. I was able to immediately use some of that knowledge managing my SQL Servers. In turn I was able to train up some of my former system administrator colleagues and then later I was able to take the material and make an applicable presentation for database professionals. The root of it all was David's work and his passion for teaching others.

Thank you, Mr. Solomon, for your dedication to the field and your time and effort imparting your knowledge to others. I am better for it and I know many others are as well. I wish you the best in your new endeavors.
