I know we were taught to share in kindergarten, but there are some things that should not be shared. In this case, I don't want to share a stomach bug that I caught from my wife that she has been suffering with the last couple of days. My morning began sometime in the 4 o'clock range, which was way earlier than my alarm clock was set. Given that my wife is just now getting over the gift she has passed on to me, and that she was sick with it for several days, I'm going to try and keep my germs to myself and not infect everyone at SQL Saturday #46 - Raleigh, NC. So unfortunately, I'm going to have to miss out.

Feel better and a good call. Coming to speak at a large event when you're sick is probably not a great idea.
