This will start a new trend on my blog. Every Friday morning I'll have a blog post covering the free SQL Server-related training I know about for the following week.
Tuesday
Pragmatic Works - Mid-Level PowerShell for DBAs and Developers - 11 AM EDT - Sean McCown
Wednesday
Quest Software - Performance Monitor and Wait Events - 7:45 AM EDT [All Day Seminar] - Kevin Kline, Brent Ozar, Ariel Weil, Buck Woody
Thursday
Pragmatic Works - SQL Server 2008 R2 for the DBA - 11 AM EDT - Patrick LeBlanc
SQL Lunch - Let's Get Dimensional - 12:30 EDT - Adam Jorgensen
I'll be trying to catalog these as I find them, so if you know of training that I'm not covering, send me an email at kbriankelley {at} acm {dot} org. Here are the sources I'm currently checking.
- Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) web site
- SQL Lunch
- Idera Software
- Microsoft TechNet
- Microsoft MSDN
- Pragmatic Works
- Quest Software
- SQL Server Magazine
- SQL Server Worldwide Users Group

Marlon Ribunal has a running list on his blog too (don't have a link handy, sorry). I found that a saved search for "free sql" on Twitter turned up lots of stuff, now I can't get to it during the day, so I have an archive on www.twapperkeeper.com/.../free%20sql (your post is the top one at the moment)

I really am happy to see this project getting started.
Thank you for compiling all of these training opportunities.
