Saw the announcement in the Connector today that the process of selecting the Nominating Committee (which vets applications for the PASS Board of Directors) will start on May 14 this year. I’m debating whether I will be a candidate for the NomCom. It’s a good place for me to add value, the downside is that I can’t coach or endorse candidates and I like being in that part of the process too.
It also means that you should be thinking about who you know (and it might be you) that would make a good candidate for the Board of Directors and do something to encourage them to run.
