Join the PASS Summit 2010 Program CommitteeJust in case you didn’t see it, we’re looking for volunteers for the 2010 program committee – the team that evaluates all the abstracts submitted which in turn leads to decisions about who gets on the schedule…and who doesn’t! It’s fairly intense work from what I’ve heard, but a great way to participate in the community. I am curious how long it takes for them to make the decision on who gets to be on the committee or not.
I think this would be a great opportunity.

That's a good question. Allen Kinsel is the volunteer that heads the Program Committee. He's sqlinsaneo on twitter. I'll ping him to see.

Thanks Jack, March first is the earliest I see this happening, especially since the number of applicants is moving towards 50 (we had 25ish last year). I guess I should probably document how we chose members for the different Program committee teams. Thanks for the idea.
Jason, I see your application in the list, and its definetly a great opportunity if you have the time to spend.
