Pam Shaw & Wes Dumey are leading the charge for the 2nd annual Tampa SQLSaturday on January 24, 2009. They are just now getting the site set up, but in the next few days I think they'll be issuing the call for speakers. Pam has done a terrific job in Tampa building up the Tampa User Group, and I'm expecting great things from this event. Their first iteration went pretty well, and since then we've learned a lot of collective lessons and greatly improved the tools used to manage the event. I'll be there as an attendee at least (and hopefully speaking) to see what lessons I can learn to pass on to other events.
I'm Andy Warren, currently a SQL Server trainer with End to End Training. Over the past few years I've been a developer, DBA, and IT Director. I was one of the original founders of SQLServerCentral.com and helped grow that community from zero to about 300k members before deciding to move on to other ventures.
