Visiting Birmingham SQL Group in June

I'll be doing a presentation for the Steel City SQL Group on June 17 and then on June 18th I'm doing an all day seminar on Performance Tuning at the Embassy Suites in Birmingham. Cost is $129 and that includes a nice lunch. The seminar is really targetted at the beginner DBA or a developer who wants to understand more about the SQL Server side of data access performance. My goal is to make performance tuning approachable and to open doors to the various subjects so that they can go back and be productive, and as they do deeper learning they're over that first part of the learning curve. This is the same seminar we did at SQLSaturday#3 and had a lot of good feedback. Hope you can attend the user group meeting and/or the seminar.

Thanks to Barry Ralston for inviting me to speak and for supporting the seminar.

I'm Andy Warren, currently a SQL Server trainer with End to End Training. Over the past few years I've been a developer, DBA, and IT Director. I was one of the original founders of SQLServerCentral.com and helped grow that community from zero to about 300k members before deciding to move on to other ventures.
