Steve is a 2008 SQL Server MVP. Well deserved, I can think of few people more visible in the community or that have done more for the community. I think it's a shame that MS took so long to recognize him. Not sure if that was because of his occasional rants about flaws in their products, because he doesn't self promote, or just because he had not crossed some magic threshold!
