SQL Saturday 40 Recap

,

Well SQL Saturday here in South Florida was QUITE an event this past weekend. We had over 400+ attendees and some fantastic sessions. I really enjoyed the sessions I got to see including some cool stuff on partitioning by Elijah Baker and some cool SSIS work by Mike Mollenhour  and Mike Davis.

Brent Ozar and Tim Ford gave the keynote which I thought was great, even through I left in the middle due to the strong lack of AC until 9am. It was a great message though about getting out there are improving your about me slide to say whatever you want it to say. Don’t be intimidated, speakers are just people like you!

My session was on SharePoint 2010 BI and PowerPivot and was packed. Thanks for all your kind comments which told me it was also well received.

Great Job to the SSFUG Team, Scott Klein, Herve, Gareth et al …  See you all soon at the user group.
