SQLBits Community Day - 6th October, 2007

If you're in the UK and can't make it to the PASS Summit in Denver, CO, USA, you won't be left out. The SQLBits community day is taking place at Microsoft's Reading Headquarters all day long. And if you're going to the PASS Summit, here's an extra day of training. What will interest most of your employers is that it's

FREE

A whole day, 20 sessions, all devoted to helping you learn SQL Server. Not quite as much content as a full conference, but the price is right and it's a chance to meet a number of extremely talented SQL Server professionals, including a number of MVPs.

Simon Sabin, SQL Server MVP and owner of Onarc Consulting, is organizing the event and will be presenting as well. This is a community event, so if you're within a reasonable distance, give them some support and we should see more events like this one, and SQL Saturday in Orlando, in different parts of the world.

Speakers are still being sought to round out the event, so submit your abstract today. It's a great way to give back to the community and build your own resume. Maybe you're the next SQL Server MVP!!

Register today on the SQLBits site for more information.
