Cartoonists Wanted

By Site Owners,

SQLServerCentral and Simple Talk Publishing are looking for a few good cartoonists that might want to practice their craft here on the site. We enjoyed our run with Raw Materials and found them to be popular and funny. Now we're looking for a few new amatuer cartoonists that might want to have some fun on the site.

If you have some artistic talent and want to build your own cartoon based on databases, software development, or technology in general, send a note to Phil Factor (phil dot factor at simple-talk dot com) with a sample of your work or an idea you have. Who knows, you might have your work featured here at SQLServerCentral and at Simple Talk as well.

We are looking to pay for work, but probably not enough for your to quit your day job. But who knows? Maybe someone will discover you and you'll move on to be the next Gary Larsen or Scott Adams.

We are hoping to get 2-3 people that rotate cartoons every few weeks, giving us a few series looking at the lighter side of the data professional.
