A New Regular

Awhile back I received a series of new articles from Jacob Sebastian in the form of a series on XML. After we went back and forth a little on editing and formatting, Jacob asked me about regular columnists. I told him that we'd chosen our regulars based on a contributions over time, and regular articles that came over the year. He told me he was interested in becoming a regular and it looks like the writing bug has bitten Jacob.

I'd like to announce Jacob Sebastian as a new regular columnist here at SQLServerCentral.com. Focusing mostly on XML, Jacob has given us a great series of articles breaking down how XML functions, structures, and implementations can work in SQL Server. With XML becoming widely deployed throughout many of Microsoft's products, please check out his series and see if you can learn a few things.

Please join me in congratulating Jacob on his new status and look forward to some great new articles in the future.
