Sponsoring SQLSaturday!

By Press Release,

Red Gate Software and SQLServerCentral have negotiated to help sponsor a number of SQL Saturday! events in the US during 2009. We are joining End to End Training to help bring more free events to SQL Server professionals all across the United States and hopefully the rest of the world. Over the last 8 years Red Gate has consistently supported all types of SQL Server events from conferences to news groups and continues that tradition with SQL Saturday.

Our goal is to provide assistance to those groups and individuals that would like to bring a free event to their local community and help educate and train those individuals that may not have the opportunity to attend larger events like the PASS Summit or SQL Connections. We think SQL Saturday! provides a great framework for running the event with a hosted web site, registration, email marketing and more and we would encourage anyone that wants to help out their local community to contact SQL Saturday! and learn more.

By guaranteeing funding, we think we can greatly reduce to efforts required to hold a SQL Saturday! event. We will contribute up to $1,000 for your event, based on attendance, and if possible, we'll send a speaker along as well to help train your local DBAs and developers.

We hope that you will consider attending or organizing your own SQL Saturday! event this year and help train DBAs and developers on how they can better take advantage of the SQL Server platform.

If you are looking for more information, please feel free to contact the webmasters at SQLServerCentral or SQLSaturday!.
