Hi,

i dont know how to start over with this, in sql 2008, we use sql management, policies and facets to evaluate and set security settings for different sql server versions.

The problem is we are also running sql 2005 server instances, where no 2008 server is around. i start to write down a tsql script, but i dont know how to evaluate and set settings like:

disable sqlmail
enable integrated auth mode
enable tcp / ip
enable password policy / expiration
etc etc

any suggestions ?
