Is it possible to read the mails(subject,body,from email id) from outlook express / MS Outlook to SQL Server

MS Outlook yes, Outlook Express no.

Take a look at xp_readmail in Books Online.

Thanks, it is working fine

But how can i get the emai id of the sender,

@originator is giving only the friendly name of the sender

anybody can specify the code
