Hi,

We have the following configuration:

- 4X nodes in a veritas clustered environment ( 64-bits windows 2003 R2 service pack 2 , with sql server 2005 64-bits SP3 installed)
- Veritas storage foundation / VCS

We are trying to use msdtc , but when running the following command (Begin Distributed transaction;) from within one of our named instances
we receive the following error:
Msg 8501, Level 16, State 3, Line 1
MSDTC on server '.....\......' is unavailable.

Msdtc is running
Msdtc account is NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService
Msdtc security options are checked

also tried to do: msdtc -uninstall and msdtc -install
also rebooted the system, but nothing seems to work.
firewall is disabled.

I hope someone can help me with this problem.
