I've got an N+1 cluster split between 2 instances (one 2k5 and the other 2k) and server resources split 60/40 (processor and memory)
I've started setting up maintenance jobs including Checking Integrity on the sql2005 side but ran into trouble with Failed Sad

0) Alter failed for Server 'servername'.
I tired checking the configuration as recommended by a couple of sites but ran into this error
Msg 5834, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 The affinity mask specified conflicts with the IO affinity mask specified. Use the override option to force this configuration.

So I set the Automatically set I/O affinity mask for all processors in the server properties as recommended here

Question: How does this effect a clsuter? Will the processors still be shared?
