    Executed as user: domain\username. Could not relay results of procedure 'ProcedureName' from remote server 'ServerName'. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 7221) [SQLSTATE 01000] (Error 7312). The step failed.

    This could be seen when calling a table or SP on a linked server but the user does not have proper permissions on the linked server. So the linked call cannot get results back.

    Another possibility is if the caller expects a recordset back but does not get it because the SP on the linked server does not treturn such.

    I do not remember exactly the which is right but had seen this message a few times awhile ago. Check both possibilities.
