error 2812 merge replication ,The process could not query row metadata at the subscriber

    My Scenario:-

    SQL Server 7 --> publisher & distributor

    SQL Server 2000 --> Subscriber

    I have inserted rows in publisher database ,But its not getting replicated to the subscriber DB.

    I am getting the error

    error 2812 ,The process could not query row metadata at the subscriber.

    Kindly Provide some solutions ,as we are implementing on production DB

    Error 2812 refers to the subscriber not being able to find and run a particular stored procedure. This error could occur for a few reasons. Security, not referring to the sp by a fully qualified name and network connectivity are a few.

    I know in my environment we can get receive these errors occaisionally if we drop network connectivity temporarily during the middle of an operation. For us, if the merge agent is stopped as a result, restarting the agent usually fixes the problem and we can see the records get replicated over.
