Are you getting any error messages? If so, please post them. Otherwise no one would really understand the issue you are having.

Was there any resolution to this? I'm getting this same error message . I recently installed 2008 R2 on a server and today I was about to start working on setting up security roles. However, when I connect to Reporting Services using SSMS to do this I could not navigate to any of the folders. I got that same error message for all folders: Jobs, Security, Roles, System Roles, and Shared Schedules.

Mia,
this is the SQL 2005 forum - you might want to post your question in the 2008 forum. Reporting Services management is quite different from 2005 to 2008, and in particular administration is quite different...
