  I get this error when i open any components in the package.

  The designer could not be initialized. Microsoft.DataTransformationServices.Design)

  this happpend after i installed a security update recently on

  SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 GDR Update 4053.

  Is there a way i can just install visual studio without causing any problems to my sql server databases ?
