Please:
(1) We've been running SSRS 2005 on Windows Server 2003 for more than a year . . . with no problems.
(2) Suddenly, in the middle of the afternoon, users could no longer access the report folders: Report Manager comes up, but all they see is "HOME" and none of the folders.
(3) Moreover . . . the same is happening to me when I run Report Manager as Administrator (using "http://xxxx/reports/Pages/Folder.aspx").
(4) The only clue (but probably a good one) that I have is that when I try to bring the report Manager up using "http://localhost/ReportServer " instead . . . I get a security error:
Reporting Services Error
The permissions granted to xxxxxxx are insufficient for performing this action. (rsAccess denied)
(5) Any idea what's going on?
(6) We are not running Windows Vista . . . we had no Windows updates in the middle of the afternoon . . . and no one made any changes of any kind to SQL Server or Windows Server in last 24 hours.
Thanks (!)

What happens if you run the Reporting Services Configuration Manager? I'd be sure to run it directly on the Reporting Services server.

Can you check the ReportServer database to ensure nothing has been corrupted.
