I think your question is pointed to "if pages are allocated or data can be inserted when the backup is running.", if this is true, the answer is YES.

Hi
I little bit confused with that one.My thing is whether Pages are there in Transaction Log
(.LDF).Pages are will be there are not.After that i get to know that
"Log files do not contain pages; they contain a series of log records"

One more Thing how does the MDF,LDF file size reduce in Normal Backup

No pages in the transaction log. The data file is divided into data pages

One more Thing how does the MDF,LDF file size reduce in Normal Backup


They don't. A backup will no reduce the size of anything
